Dietary Aide

Jasper Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing our residents with nutritious meals and a positive dining experience in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Assist with meal preparation, setup, and service for residents
• Prepare resident trays according to menus and dietary instructions
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays as assigned
• Assist residents during meal service as appropriate
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Assist with stocking and organizing food and dietary supplies
• Follow resident diet orders, including texture modifications and other dietary restrictions
• Work cooperatively with dietary, nursing, and other facility staff
• Perform other dietary department duties as assigned

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to maintain appropriate sanitation and food-safety standards
• Must have a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents
• Must meet all applicable employment and health requirements
