POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Check Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring every Unwind home meets our high standards of cleanliness, staging, and guest readiness. This position is responsible for performing thorough inspections prior to each guest arrival, verifying that the property has been properly cleaned, staged and stocked according to Unwind’s brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Stay Inspections:

  • Visit each assigned property before guest check-in.
  • Confirm that all cleaning tasks have been completed to Unwind’s quality standards.
  • Ensure proper staging of furniture, décor, and amenities for a luxury experience.
  • Verify that all linens, toiletries, and guest essentials are stocked and presented correctly.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Complete a digital checklist for each property inspection.
  • Document any deficiencies with photos and detailed notes.
  • Communicate issues promptly to the cleaning team or property manager for resolution.

Guest Readiness Assurance:

  • Test appliances, lighting, HVAC, and Wi-Fi functionality.
  • Check for safety compliance (locks, smoke detectors, etc.).
  • Ensure welcome materials and any special guest requests are in place.
  • Consider what the guest will see, smell, feel, hear, and experience upon entering the home.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic tech skills for using mobile apps and reporting tools.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping supervision, or property management preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • A short video introduction is required as part of the application.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 hourly – independent contractor

Schedule:

Part-time;
Works around the rental calendar.
