Ladies Locker Room Attendant – Spa (Full-Time)

Provide friendly, attentive, and timely delivery of service on the Fitness Equipment Floor, Locker Rooms, Fitness Café, and general guest and member areas as directed by Fitness Leadership. Create and forge relationships with guests, members, and staff, continuing to promote the Sea Island legacy of warm genuine hospitality. Maintain and tend the Fitness Equipment Floor and Locker Rooms, replenish products, track inventory, and report necessary maintenance to the Fitness Supervisor and Leadership.
Deliver service in an efficient and courteous manner that meets Forbes 5‑Star standards. Respond to guest needs attentively and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
- Must be CPR and First Aid Certified and familiar with all Fitness Equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Forbes Five Star Standards
- Familiarity with fitness POS systems
- Proficient with peripherals, copier, fax, telephone, computer, and calculator
- Passionate about people and helping others

- Maintain all cleaning and service standards of the Locker Room: station assignments, opening and closing side work duties, restroom and shower area cleanliness, etc.
- Follow Check List & TITB sheets for Fitness Floor Operations, Locker Room Policy & Procedures, and Fitness Café.
- Work with the Fitness Supervisor to provide the highest level of fitness experience for guests and members.
- Coordinate with Fitness Leaders to order needed product and maintain quality of all products.
- Follow procedures for flow and supply of guest and member fitness amenities to enhance the guest service experience.
- Maintain current knowledge of fitness amenity needs in all parts of the fitness building.
- Work in a team format and assure completion of preparation work at the beginning of shifts.
- Assure completion of closing work at the end of shifts.
- Communicate with the fitness team and management to advise them of guest needs and requests.
- Promote a cordial and accommodating atmosphere for colleagues and guests.
- Cooperate with leaders on fitness service to achieve coordinated presentation of amenities and guest services in locker rooms and fitness floor.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and local authorities and Forbes Five‑Star standards.
- Assist in inventory of fitness products.
- Learn and recognize regular guests and members.
- Monitor guest and member satisfaction frequently and anticipate needs without requiring direction.
- Attend all scheduled meetings & training required by leadership, department, and company.
- Manage guest relations with professionalism at all times.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information about Sea Island and surrounding areas to answer guest questions effectively.
- Complete Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) forms when necessary and follow up on issues as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Uphold departmental standards of quality and timing.
- Report equipment problems, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unsafe practices to the supervisor immediately.
- Attend scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Execute other duties as delegated by leadership in a timely manner.
