Position Overview

HSAGP Energy LLC (Hyundai‑SK America Green Power) is a joint venture of Hyundai Motor Group and SK On, producing EV batteries. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist for a full‑time position in Bartow County, Georgia.

Base Pay Range

$70,000 – $110,000 per year

Job Responsibilities
  • Process bi‑weekly and monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review pre‑ and post‑processing reports, correct errors before finalizing payroll.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll funding and GL entries.
  • Enter and validate changes such as hires, terminations, rate changes, and special payments.
  • Verify overtime, shift differentials, premium pay, PTO, and unpaid time per federal/state wage regulations.
  • Partner with managers to resolve time‑card discrepancies.
  • Reconcile time and attendance data from ADP WFM.
  • Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports for HR, Accounting, Finance, and management.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end payroll close activities, including W‑2 review and reconciliation.
  • Participate in system testing and implementation of payroll updates.
  • Provide service to HR and other departments on system and policy enhancements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 3‑5 years of payroll experience in a high‑volume, hourly manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to handle large data sets and reports.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally with strong time‑management skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ownership of deliverables.
