Position Overview
HSAGP Energy LLC (Hyundai‑SK America Green Power) is a joint venture of Hyundai Motor Group and SK On, producing EV batteries. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist for a full‑time position in Bartow County, Georgia.
Base Pay Range$70,000 – $110,000 per year
Job Responsibilities- Process bi‑weekly and monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review pre‑ and post‑processing reports, correct errors before finalizing payroll.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll funding and GL entries.
- Enter and validate changes such as hires, terminations, rate changes, and special payments.
- Verify overtime, shift differentials, premium pay, PTO, and unpaid time per federal/state wage regulations.
- Partner with managers to resolve time‑card discrepancies.
- Reconcile time and attendance data from ADP WFM.
- Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports for HR, Accounting, Finance, and management.
- Support month‑end and year‑end payroll close activities, including W‑2 review and reconciliation.
- Participate in system testing and implementation of payroll updates.
- Provide service to HR and other departments on system and policy enhancements.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 3‑5 years of payroll experience in a high‑volume, hourly manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to handle large data sets and reports.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally with strong time‑management skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ownership of deliverables.
