HR Generalist (ONSITE) – Contract at CAIRE Inc.
Temporary contract position lasting approximately 3–6 months, 40 hours per week, onsite Monday–Friday in Ball Ground, GA.
Base Pay Range$30.00/hr – $35.00/hr
Summary & ObjectiveThe human resource generalist focuses on performing duties at the professional level in areas such as benefits, compensation, learning and development, performance management, worker’s compensation, and employee recognition. The role requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization and sensitive to corporate and employee needs. This position reports directly to the Global Human Resources Manager.
EssentialFunctions
- Acts as an employee relations specialist – coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing disciplinary actions
- Maintains employee personnel files
- Responsible for onboarding and off‑boarding employees
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I‑9 employment eligibility verification; periodically audits Forms I‑9
- Partners with leadership to drive employee performance, ensuring performance metrics and communications occur consistently
- Updates, monitors and maintains eligible salary adjustments based on evaluations at three, six months and one year
- Promotes and implements HR programs to foster a best‑place‑to‑work culture
- Other duties as assigned to support the HR team

Work EnvironmentOnsite position, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. The job operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting and occasional crawling
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional heavier lifting
Occasional pushing, pulling and handling of materials
Local travel to various work sites is required
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience; experience in administration of benefits and employee relations
Education and Experience
- Human resources experience in this industry
- 5 to 7 years of generalist experience or benefits specialist experience
- PHR, SCP, SHRM certification
