SummaryYorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified SBCT Medium Brigade Force Experimentation, Studies, and Analysis Manager to support the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC), Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (MCDID). MCDID helps with JCIDS process focusing on maneuver force transformation, assessing maneuver capabilities, and identifying gaps to develop DOTMLPF-P requirements. They support JCIDS Capability Based Assessments and manage operational architectures, determine maneuver force requirements, and participate in ICDTs to develop JCIDS products.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to virtual, live, and constructive experimentation to assess SBCT current capabilities and shape future capabilities for the SBCT or Medium Brigade formation. This includes SBCT Medium Brigade Force Experimentation, Studies, and Analysis.
- Assist government lead in developing and executing a structured campaign of learning to improve SBCT war fighting capabilities in future Operations Environments, including experimentation, unit outreach, surveys, and other information-gathering methods to support SBCT user representation.
- Serve on capability-based assessments to inform modernization efforts as a writer, analyst, and briefer. Analyze and develop SBCT milestone documents and JCIDS content for clarity and revision recommendations (e.g., FCW, FDU, MNS, ORD, CDD, CPD, JCD).
- Assist government lead with SBCT unit visits and lessons learned forums to gain insights on SBCT gap refinement and future capability development.
- Serve as Primary ACM SBCT FORGE data entry lead.
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a BA/BS or higher degree or a high school diploma with 9 years of experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in fielding, training, sustainment, maintenance, and employment of Army Mission Command Systems while conducting DA operational training or deployment in a maneuver BCT.
- Three (3) years of experience serving in a FORSCOM, TRADOC, or AFC organization conducting testing, evaluation, and integration of emerging network and mission command system technologies as a Soldier, DA Civilian or Defense Contractor.
- Experience in tactical network operations, or as a S6 OIC/NCOIC in battalion or brigade field tactical command posts is preferred.
