We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team at the Jeff Davis Transfer Station in Hazlehurst, GA. The Scale Operator will be responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

• Operate the scale to weigh vehicles and materials entering and leaving the transfer station.
• Record weights accurately and maintain detailed logs and documentation.
• Verify and process tickets, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, site personnel, and management.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on scale equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with general site operations as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating scales or in a similar role preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate scale software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This position is based at the Jeff Davis Transfer Station located in Hazlehurst, GA. The role involves working outdoors and may require standing for extended periods. Safety gear and training will be provided.
