What awaits you:
- Customer Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers.
- Manage customer forecasts, call-offs, and JIS processing.
- Monitor customer demand and fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and manage portals.
- Manage customer scorecards and coordinate engineering changes.
- Create production schedules considering manpower, machines, and materials.
- Maintain target inventory levels.
- Escalate deviations and manage overtime as needed.
- Incorporate engineering changes into schedules.
Component Planning (SAP MRP):
- Set up and maintain SAP parameters (lead time, safety stock).
- Distribute shipment requirements based on SAP demands.
- Manage component inventory and obsolete parts.
- Create and maintain BOMs.
Component Follow-up:
- Ensure timely shipments from suppliers and carriers.
- Develop recovery plans for supply/demand issues.
- Manage expedited freight and monitor component receipt.
- Issue BCAQs for supplier issues.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory accuracy, performing related duties, and complying with OSHA, ISO 14001, TS 16949, and IATF 16949 standards.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant supply chain discipline.
- Deep understanding of logistics processes and trends.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Good presentation skills.
