Summary
MNAe MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain - Savannah is searching for a qualified F facilities Assistant Manager (AM) to work alongside our security and maintenance staff to ensure our buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintenance place. The Facilities AM is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities, mainly Building, Electricity, and HVAC.
Duties include building maintenance, external contractor management, planning maintenance work, and managing facilities specialists and technicians at the site. Our ideal candidate exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state‑of‑art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
Essential Functions(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Manage daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure facility readiness and support for manufacturing processes
- Project Management
- Lead facility‑related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines; manage contractors and vendors
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA)
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including utilities, maintenance, and capital expenditures
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through energy efficiency and process improvements
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and develop a team of specialists and technicians
- Provide training, performance evaluations, and support for career development
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements met

Required
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Facilities Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
- Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
- Experience managing facility systems such as HVAC and Electrical distribution in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and facility management software
- Experience with energy management systems
