About the Role:

The Welding Packaging Operation role is critical in ensuring that manufactured products are securely and efficiently packaged following welding processes to maintain product integrity and quality. This position involves coordinating closely with welding and production teams to understand packaging requirements specific to welded components. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and inspecting packaging materials to meet safety and shipping standards.

Attention to detail is essential to prevent damage during transportation and to comply with industry regulations. Ultimately, this role supports the seamless transition of products from manufacturing to distribution, contributing to overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to welding or packaging operations.
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to packaging and material handling.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, packaging instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packaging materials and products as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in welding processes or packaging technology.
  • Experience operating packaging machinery or automated packaging systems.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble packaging materials tailored to welded products to ensure protection during handling and shipping.
