SummaryAs a Facility Operator I, you will be responsible for supporting daily operational activities including equipment operation, material handling, cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks in accordance with the work instructions. You will help support production volumes and quality ensuring smooth and efficient facility processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment in accordance with the OP Manual, inputting materials, and monitoring defects/loss for continuous operation
- Conduct self-inspection of equipment and check the quality
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work in EMS (Equipment Management System)
- Conduct visual and routine checks on machines or equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
- Track all non-conformations and scraps
- Comply with health/safety/environmental/fire regulations
- Perform 5s audits, quality checks and maintenance work logs
- Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain;
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container - Follow HL-GA Battery’s existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational Certificate or associate’s degree preferred or equivalent or relevant experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn equipment operation/maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable team player with positive work ethic
- Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for up to 12 hours:
Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, Nitrile gloves, Ear protection, Clean room suit - Must be able to perform the following repeatedly for up to 12 hours:
Lift/push/pull, Stoop, twist, bend, Reach overhead, Sit and/or stand, Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
