Superba Operator – B Shift – Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals. Function as a primary source of finish application in yarn conversion resulting in resistance to wear, dimensional stability, and design meeting product specifications.
• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Run both creeling and winding sides when needed.
• Use black light to check for mixes.
• Attend any job‑related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on‑the‑job training.
• Previous yarn or manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Operate in a team‑based environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle problems in standardized situations.
• Multi‑tasking skills.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.

• May require bending, squatting, climbing, and other physical movement for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Working around moving equipment in an industrial environment.
• Working in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, machinery noise, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures.
