Penn Rose Farms LLC is a grower‑owned, solutions‑based supply chain management company. Through common ownership of our family of companies, we grow, ship, and manage the production of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the U.S., Mexico, and beyond. We proudly serve the Retail, Wholesale and Food service fresh fruit and vegetable industry and are seeking a skilled shipping and receiving clerk.

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of contents and check for damages.
• Unload and sort incoming packages, ensuring product is properly labeled and stored in the appropriate location.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting the appropriate packaging materials and labeling them correctly.
• Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory levels, update records, and generate shipping documents.
• Operate forklift or other equipment to load and unload shipments as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist drivers when they check in and provide them with all the necessary documentation.
• Print the labels in accordance with the order/customer.
• Print Pick Tickets of each lot for Warehouse Team and Re-pack personal (receiving tickets and pick tickets) and order material check list.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, always following safety protocols.
• Hours:
  
  Part Time.

• Effective communication skills, strong people skills, able to develop/maintain good relationships.
• Famous Software experience is a plus.
• Fresh produce experience preferred.
• Bilingual:
  English/Spanish; a plus.
• Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
• Must have customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
• Solid understanding of produce varieties handled in a wholesale operation.
• Experience working with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience using inspection tools (thermometer, refractometer, penetrometer, etc.).
• High School Diploma or its equivalency in experience and/or training.

• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch on a regular basis to check equipment or supplies in low‑lying areas.
• Able to work in variable temperatures and humid environments.
• Must be able to lift (floor to work area) up to 50 pounds seldomly.
• Must be able to lift (above shoulder) up to 50 pounds seldomly.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds seldomly.
• Must be able to push (waist or shoulder level) up to 50 pounds seldomly.
• Must be able to pull (waist or shoulder level) up to 50 pounds seldomly.
