Machine Operator

* must be available to train on 1st shift*

Paramount Printing is seeking a skilled Zund Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in operating digital die-cutting equipment and a commitment to quality and precision. You'll play a key part in ensuring smooth production, from setup to final output, using state-of-the-art Zund machinery.

• Operate Zund digital die-cutting equipment to meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Set up and adjust machines for various production jobs
• Perform quality checks during production to maintain consistency
• Conduct routine maintenance and replace blades, bits, and modules as needed
• Follow posted Zund schedules to meet production deadlines
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime
• Manage materials and inventory, reporting shortages to management
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
• Accurately report production quantities and maintain job records
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support safety goals and adhere to all safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Basic computer skills (email, mouse, keyboard, navigating menus)
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to become certified to operate a forklift and use pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn database systems (e.g., ERP)
• Effective communication skills—written and verbal
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
