We are looking for a Receiving/Shipping Coordinator for Pro Mach’s Zalkin product brand. Zalkin is a global leader in high-performance bottle capping machines and cap handling systems for beverages, foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and beyond. This position reports to Zalkin Americas Operations Director and is located in our Statham, GA offices.
In this role, you will...- Be responsible for managing the receiving process
- Prioritize safety in the warehouse
- Receive and label goods
- Compare packing slip against purchase order and verify accuracy of shipment, noting discrepancies to appropriate associates
- Ensure product arrived undamaged and proper notifications and documentation are made if any part of a shipment is received damaged
- Accurate documentation is critical in warehouse receiving, including updating inventory records to reflect the newly received items and completing necessary paperwork
- Stage parts for customer orders to include moving the item from inventory, accurately logging transactions in Syteline, tagging parts, properly packing for shipment
- Responsible for the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process
- Work with material coordinator to schedule and track outside service orders
- Keep work area clean and well organized
- Projects as requested by manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Able to multi-task and accurately complete tasks through to completion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
- Ability to perform in a rapidly changing multi-task environment
- Preferred:
Knowledge of international shipping procedures - High School diploma or GED
- One year experience in inventory control/stockroom and shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Good organizational and math skills
- Visual acuity sufficient to read and prepare packaging slips and labels and maintain inventory records
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to pack, unpack, and lift cartons, parts, equipment or materials weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently, handle multi-tasked role, maintain a positive attitude and work well with all levels of management and operators
- Continuous walking
