Pipe Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a Pipe Welder to join our fabrication shop team and perform high-quality welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and mixed-material piping. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role uses multiple welding processes and technical drawings to fabricate, install, repair, and test components while meeting project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using TIG/GTAW, Stick/SMAW, MIG/GMAW, and multiple welding processes.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products and piping components.
• Install and repair equipment and components.
• Follow blueprints and schematics to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements and verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Work with stainless steel, carbon steel, and mixed materials.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Applicants must pass X-ray testing.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to handle the physical workload of pipe welding and fabrication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
• Experience with Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• Experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG).
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Physical stamina and safety awareness.
