Youth Pastor

Orchard Pointe is 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Tn. We are blessed with young families and children. Orchard is looking for a creative and fun Youth Pastor who desires to see the heart of children pointed to Christ. The applicant must have a strong relationship with Jesus and outstanding character. The Youth Pastor will lead the youth services and oversee volunteers, engage with parents in partnering with them raising their children for Christ, and help lead Sunday services, Wednesday night gatherings, and other events scheduled throughout the year.

• Lead youth into Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ through Discipleship and Showing Christ through outreach.
• Choose and prepare curriculum/lessons for each week.
• Set an example of Spiritual and Moral Maturity.
• Actively participate in weekly worship services and other scheduled events.
• Meet weekly with Pastoral Staff to share prior ministry activities and future planned events.
• Arrive at all services or events early for assistance and preparation.
• Faithfully support the church through tithe and offerings.
• Work with Pastor and Advisory Board on a healthy plan of spiritual and numerical growth for the youth program.
• Any and all funds used from the youth account must be recorded and receipts turned in.
• Any monies above and beyond the yearly amount given by the church must be raised by the youth program.
