New Hope Baptist Church is seeking a Bi‑Vocational Pastor who meets the Covenants of the Church. The pastor should be a person who has been led by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus as Savior and, upon profession of faith, has been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

• Teach and proclaim the Gospel.
• Preside at the Lord’s Supper.
• Baptize candidates for baptism.
• Serve as shepherd of the flock and minister to the people for Jesus’ sake.
• Walk together in Christian love and strive for the advancement of the church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort.
• Promote the prosperity and spirituality of the church while sustaining its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines.
• Be just in the church’s dealings, faithful in the engagements, exemplary in deportment and avoiding all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger.
• Remember all in prayer, aid those in sickness and distress, and cultivate Christian sympathy in feelings and courtesy in speech while engaging to watch over one another in brotherly and Christ‑like love.
• Be an ex‑officio (non‑voting) member of all committees of the church.

• Bi‑Vocational experience in pastoral ministry.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Covenants of the Church.
• Strong reliance on the Holy Spirit for guidance and empowerment.
• Valid and undeniable faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
• Proficiency in teaching, preaching, and sacramental functions.
• Ability to lead worship, administer the Lord’s Supper, and conduct baptisms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering community, love, and spiritual growth.
