Madison First UMC, in beautiful Madison, GA seeks a full-time Director of Children’s ministries. Madison First UMC is a mid-size church congregation in a growing and thriving small town community. We are located 1 hour East of Atlanta, 30 minutes South of Athens, and 1.5 hours West of Augusta. The Director of Children’s Ministries would coordinate and direct all ministries relevant to nursery age to 5 th grade.
Ministry responsibilities include Sunday School, Children’s Church, Sunday Night activities, supervising nursery workers for weekly programs, and VBS. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree with a least 3 years prior experience in Children’s ministry activities. This position has extraordinary possibilities for growth and will be well resourced. Compensation range is $50k to $60k annually. Additional opportunities may exist with the right candidate to combine children and youth ministries into a Family Ministry position.
