Spring Place Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Minister of Music & Outreach who is passionate about leading Christ-centered worship and helping the church intentionally engage our community with the love of Jesus Christ.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is both a musicleader and a ministry builder—someone who loves developing volunteers, planning meaningful worship services, and creating opportunities for the church to connect with people outside its walls.

Working alongside the Senior Pastor, you’ll help shape worship through song that is biblically faithful, spiritually engaging, and centered on Christ while leading outreach initiatives that strengthen relationships in our community and open doors for the gospel.

Spring Place Baptist Church is a growing Southern Baptist church in the beautiful mountains of northwest Georgia. We are committed to making disciples by equipping believers and impacting lives through biblical preaching, authentic worship, meaningful relationships, and intentional outreach.

• Plan and lead Christ-centered worship services in partnership with the Senior Pastor.
• Lead a blended worship ministry that incorporates both hymns and modern worship songs.
• Recruit, disciple, train, and schedule praise team members and instrumentalists.
• Direct weekly rehearsals.
• Foster an atmosphere of authentic congregational worship.
• Work with audio, visual, and livestream volunteers to ensure excellence in worship services.

• Develop and lead outreach strategies that connect the church with the surrounding community.
• Plan and coordinate community events, service projects, evangelistic initiatives, and follow-up efforts.
• Build relationships with local schools, organizations, and community leaders.
• Mobilize church members to serve and share the gospel.
• Oversee the church’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, etc.) and help communicate church events through digital and print media.

• Communicate effectively with volunteers, staff, church members, and guests.
• Provide spiritual leadership to those serving in the Music and Outreach Ministries.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Responsibly manage ministry budgets and church resources.

• A growing follower of Jesus Christ with a clear testimony and a heart for ministry.
• Called to vocational church ministry.
• Passionate about leading people in worship rather than performing.
• Able to lead a blended worship style with musical excellence.
• A team builder who enjoys recruiting and developing volunteers.
• Relational, approachable, and community-minded.
• Comfortable using technology, social media, and basic audio/visual systems.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively with church staff.

• Experience leading congregational worship.
• Musical training and/or ministry experience.
• Ability to play an instrument (preferred but not required if strong vocal leadership is demonstrated).
• Familiarity with worship planning software and presentation technology.
• Experience managing church social media and digital communication is a plus.
