The Clinch County Health Department is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the full‑time, salaried position of PH Registered Nurse based in Homerville, GA. As an RN with the SEHD, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols.
• Deliver community health services in programs such as Women’s Health, Child Health, Adult Health, etc.
• Assess client conditions, develop plans of care, provide treatments, educate clients, and refer clients to supporting agencies.
• Record pertinent observations and treatment responses.
• Adhere to protocols for vaccine administration and specimen collection, including COVID‑19 specimen collection.
• Ensure safety precautions, HIPAA requirements, and accurate data entry.
• Administer vaccinations during mass vaccination clinics or declared emergencies.

• Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire.
• Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
• CPR certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• One year of experience as a registered professional nurse.
• Bilingual.

The Southeast Health District encourages staff wellness with designated wellness breaks up to 30 minutes per workday.
