Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Alma, GA | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the next | Block scheduling cannot be accommodated | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe delivery outcomes
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per protocol with accurate documentation
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Proficiency or ability to work within Meditech EMR
• Ability to work an alternating weekly schedule; block scheduling is not available

• Prior experience with electronic fetal monitoring and high-risk obstetric patients
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience
