About the Position:
This position is with the Equipment Management section at Martin Army Community Hospital located in Fort Benning, GA. Duty hours are . This is an open continuous announcement. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Evaluate and install complex medical equipment and systems in a medical facility.
- Advise on special projects involving the installation, service and repair of highly complex medical equipment and systems.
- Serve as consultant to clinical staff in the purchase of new medical equipment and modifications of medical systems to meet special needs.
- Inspect, operate, and test medical equipment to determine whether it meets government's specifications after purchase.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services inspections of medical patient care equipment such as x-ray machine, ultrasound scanners, physiological monitoring systems, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), etc.
- Operate Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment to support troubleshooting and repair of complex medical equipment and systems.
