Guided by our company’s core values, the Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician plays a critical role in supporting ADAMA’s manufacturing operations by evaluating and analyzing raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products. This role ensures that chemical and physical properties meet internal specifications and regulatory standards. The QC Lab Technician helps uphold our commitment to product quality and safety by maintaining compliance, conducting analytical testing, and supporting continuous improvement across shifts.
LocationOcilla, Georgia
Fundamental Areas Of Focus- Serve in a technical and advisory role for quality testing procedures, chemical analysis, and lab operations.
- Perform analytical testing using standardized methods and instrumentation to assess chemical and physical properties.
- Train new team members in lab procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Identify quality or process issues by evaluating trends, reviewing data, and communicating with cross‑functional teams.
- Take corrective actions to resolve quality discrepancies, elevate concerns, and support safe and accurate lab practices.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry standards and applicable regulations, including safety and environmental protocols.
- Support ergonomic and workflow improvements to optimize lab efficiency and data accuracy.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science preferred.
- 1–3 years’ experience as a lab technician in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of maintaining spreadsheets and lab databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across departments and shifts.
- Familiarity with good laboratory practices (GLP), safety data sheets (SDS), and handling of chemicals.

Physical Demands And Work Environment- Frequently required to sit, walk, and stand; may occasionally bend, climb, or lift up to 30 pounds.
