We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained throughout all phases of the manufacturing process, from raw materials to the final product. You will work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to maintain compliance, minimize defects, and uphold product integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-process inspections and final product quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor production processes to identify quality control issues, non-conformances, and areas for improvement.
- Perform routine testing and measurement of materials and finished goods using calibrated tools and equipment.
- Document and report inspection findings, maintain detailed records, and support traceability requirements.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and team leads to resolve quality-related issues in real-time.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory guidelines, and company quality policies.
- Participate in internal audits, training, and cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation protocols.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
