Quality Resident Liaison / Automotive Representative
TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Resident Liaison/Representative
West Point, GA
This role is key to the success of TRIGO's Quality Resident Engineering business, aiming to prevent and correct customer claims through proactive and corrective actions.
Responsibilities- Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution.
- Build strong professional relationships at plant level.
- Act as the contracted customer’s representative, handling production issues and meeting commitments.
- Maintain clear communication between OEM and the contracted customer.
- Suggest improvements to both OEM and contracted customer.
- Immediately analyze OEM facility problems, find solutions, and inform affected production plants to take corrective actions.
- Provide continuous feedback to the customer on the status and evolution of existing claims.
- Participate in customer meetings as required.
- Seek continuous feedback, formal and informal, on customer satisfaction with our product and service.
- Audit regularly on how the customer handles our products.
- Keep training and keep updated on technical and quality topics through meetings and visits to contracted partners.
- Report to the TRIGO Resident liaison Manager any competitor initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to the dedicated contracted partner’s team or contact partner.
- Participate in prototype, pre‑serial builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at customer sites.
- Report to the TRIGO Country Resident Manager internally and to defined contacts externally.
- Involve in customer requirements concerning technical changes and technical support.
- Represent the contracted partner and customer interests.
- Coordinate repair and sorting activities on site. Initiate sorting or rework only with written confirmation from the contracted client.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Proficient in process and process controls.
- Experience implementing standardized work.
- Experience with process and product audits.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
- Strong leadership and direction.
- Knowledge of automotive part sequencing (preferred).
- Ability to handle pressure and ambiguous situations.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Self‑motivated / self‑starter.
- Strong integrity, acting as the company's representative.
- Ability to build long‑term win‑win relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer relationship skills.
- Availability to work on call at any time.
