Assist in overseeing daily Quality Assurance operations to ensure products meet JSC quality standards, customer requirements, and automotive industry regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and systems to minimize defects, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
Respond promptly to customer quality concerns, complaints, and inquiries, ensuring timely investigation, corrective actions, and follow-up.
Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring quality issues.
Supervise, train, coach, and develop Quality Assurance associates to improve performance, accountability, and technical knowledge.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators, identify trends, and develop action plans to achieve departmental quality targets.
Support compliance with IATF 16949 and other applicable quality management system requirements, including internal, customer, and supplier audits.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement improvements.
Utilize quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), capability studies, and root cause analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between shifts regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, and operational priorities.
Assist the Quality Manager with departmental planning, reporting, employee development, and daily operational decisions.
Promote a culture of quality, safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout JSC.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience required.
Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or automotive quality management systems required.
Experience in stamping and resistance welding operations required.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred.
Experience with quality tools, root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, and process improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
