Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of standard Microbiological tests, such as microbial compendia tests and test method qualifications; routine testing including viable air sampling, surface testing, particulate monitoring, endotoxin testing, growth promotion, membrane filtration, and microbial identifications according to SOPs. Maintain proper documentation practices in accordance with cGMP. Conduct laboratory tasks such as general housekeeping, equipment monitoring and maintenance, inventory management, etc.
Analyze data accurately.
Qualifications:
- Must have an undergraduate degree in Biology or Microbiology (or a closely related equivalent degree).
- A minimum of 1 year industry experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to conduct microbiological tests and studies with minimal supervision
. - Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience with good aseptic technique is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict management.
- Strong statistical and analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication with professionals across departments (e.g., Engineering, Operations) at all levels.
- Ability to work off-shift hours as needed based on business requirements.
- Adhere to safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary.
- Follow quality system procedures and instructions.
- Utilize applicable software systems (e.g., Compliance Wire, Adaptive).
- Meet work performance targets and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2), including 6S and Operator Asset Care.
- Accurately document work records as per procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Meet training deadlines consistently.
