Kitchen Assistant

The Claiborne at West Lake is hiring a Kitchen assistant. Under the direction of the Culinary Services Director, the Kitchen assistant will perform a variety of duties in and around the kitchen.

• Transporting dishes from the dining room after meals
• Clean, wash and sanitizing dishes and utensils
• Performs sanitation clean-up of kitchen and dining area
• Serves residents as needed
• Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
