As Kitchen Leader, you will master cooking techniques, maintain equipment, and train crew members to become future leaders. Your role ensures food quality, cleanliness, safety, and great customer experience.
What You’ll Do- Prepare, cook, and prep food to order while following kitchen procedures.
- Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues.
- Support teamwork between back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house crew.
- Develop crew members toward future leadership roles.
- Communicate effectively with crew and customers to guarantee excellent service and throughput.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen and equipment.
- Maintain equipment repair schedules and ensure safety.
- Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and inventory rotation (FIFO) processes.
- Understanding and articulation of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
- Proficiency in the primary language(s) of the location.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior restaurant experience.
