Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 to $15.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 10–12 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication with supervisor, reporting time, feedback, and required surveys. Provide professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers. Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. - Holiday support:
Provide additional hours during major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends. - Department resets:
Assist with installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, may include evenings or weekends. - Team support:
Support other field merchandisers as needed.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and back stockrooms, consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Read, write and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
