We focus on producing safe, nutritious, pesticide-free, non-GMO vegetables with consistent quality and longer shelf life year-round, using innovative hydroponic methods that consume 95% less water than traditional farming.

Kalera has recently expanded with new facilities in Orlando, FL, and plans for additional farms in Atlanta and Houston, aiming for rapid growth both domestically and internationally.

Obtained or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Biology, Horticulture Science, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent horticultural experience preferred.

• Scout crops for insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and mechanical issues.
• Record scouting observations and crop issues.
• Perform daily inspections and complete checklists of growing areas and equipment.
• Collect and input crop data for performance and quality monitoring.

• Ensure health and quality of seedlings and transplants.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining hydroponic systems.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical use.
• Maintain food safety logs related to horticulture operations.
• Assist production teams as needed.
