Job Description and Responsibilities

Tactica Solutions is seeking an Expert Security Support Specialist to provide full-scope Physical, Personnel, Special Access Program (SAP), Industrial, and Special Security support to USSOCOM operations. This position ensures secure operations and compliance with DoD security policies, supporting SCIF planning, accreditation, inspections, and foreign disclosure processes.

Typical Job Duties and Tasks:

• Provide expert-level physical, personnel, industrial, SAP, and special security support.
• Advise and assist on SCIF planning, accreditation, recertification, and ICD 705 standards.
• Conduct security briefings, inspections, and training for security personnel.
• Liaise with government and industrial security officials on clearance actions, access control, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures aligned with DoD 5200 series and NISPOM.
• Support special security programs including PSIP, ACCM, SAP/STO, foreign disclosure, and compartmented programs.
• Formulate automated information systems security procedures and monitor compliance.

Requirements

Requirements – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 6 years of DoD or equivalent government security experience.
• Operational-level experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with personnel security, background investigations, SCIF accreditation, and special access programs.
• Strong knowledge of ICD 705, DoD 5200 series, and other security regulations.
• Experience training security representatives and conducting security inspections.
• Strong briefing and liaison skills.

Required Security Clearance

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility prior to start.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to 25 pounds as necessary.
