As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Computer Reporting in Moreland, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
