Home Insulation Foreman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Home Insulation Foreman to lead our insulation team. The Foreman will supervise and coordinate the activities of insulation workers while actively participating in insulation installation, removal, and related tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong leadership abilities and hands-on experience in insulation work.

• Supervision:
  Lead and oversee a team of insulation laborers, assign tasks, and ensure efficient project execution.
• Insulation Work:
  Perform insulation installation, removal, radiant barrier installation, rodent proofing, air sealing, replacing and cutting in new air ducts, installing attic fans (low voltage), and cleaning air ducts, while guiding and working alongside team members.
• Training and Guidance:
  Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
• Project Management:
  Plan and organize work schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and manage resources to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Quality Assurance:
  Conduct inspections to ensure proper installation techniques, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Communication:
  Maintain effective communication with contractors, supervisors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations, use PPE, and follow safe work practices.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, hours worked, and any incidents or concerns encountered on-site.
• Troubleshooting:
  Identify and resolve problems or challenges that arise during insulation projects, using experience and expertise to find effective solutions.

• Extensive experience in insulation installation, removal, and related tasks in residential and commercial settings.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage projects efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in insulation installation are advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
