Position Summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Master Plumber will install and oversee all plumbing related functions at the facility.

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Master Plumber will install and oversee all plumbing related functions at the facility.

What You Will Do
  • Perform master level, skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, water leaks, gas leaks, sanitary and storm lines.
  • Provide technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of the plumbing systems and related accessories, to assist with management and operation of the facilities in a cost‑effective manner.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, valve fittings, grease traps, fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water lines, toilets, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
  • Complete all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Read blueprints and drawings.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.
  • Complete all required compliance, safety and developmental training as assigned.
  • May be required to provide training, oversight or direction to technicians in unlike skillset on the basics of trade.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years commercial plumbing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments.
  • Self‑starter and motivated.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, nights shifts and on call when needed.
  • Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
  • Familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
  • Team player, strong work ethic, positive attitude, desire to succeed and represent our firm with the best possible service to clients.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must pass pre‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Self‑motivated, team player who can multitask, prioritize and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Current state Master Level Plumbers license.
