Collision Center Painter

Pay:$20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair, auto painting, and vehicle restoration, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using various techniques, and ensuring the final appearance meets industry standards. Candidates with dealership experience, welding skills, and mechanical knowledge will be highly valued.

The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to vehicle enhancement and customer satisfaction.

Duties
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
  • Apply paint using airless spray systems, power tools, or hand tools to achieve smooth finishes
  • Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal and panel alignment
  • Conduct buffing and detailing to ensure a polished final appearance
  • Repair or replace auto glass as needed during restoration processes
  • Use welding and mechanical skills for minor repairs or modifications
  • Assist with auto estimating and customer service tasks when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to painting equipment and tools
Requirements
  • Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or related fields; dealership experience preferred
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, buffing equipment, and auto glass installation
  • Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Welding skills and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with auto estimating is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
