Skilled Operator

Fondomonte California is hiring Skilled Farm Operators to support our farming operation in Blythe. Our work includes growing, harvesting, and preparing forage products for export. We are looking for dependable operators who work safely, care for their equipment, and contribute to a strong field team.

• Operate farm equipment, including rakes, balers, tractors in the 90–190 horsepower range, forklifts, and trucks, as assigned and qualified.
• Complete pre-operation inspections and prepare equipment for safe startup.
• Monitor equipment during operation, address routine issues, and report problems that could affect safety or production.
• Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Perform concrete work and related field or facility repairs as assigned.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas, including fueling and handling twine and other operating supplies.
• Help maintain clean fields and perform assigned manual work.
• Work alongside other operators and assist the team as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years old.
• At least three months of agricultural forage experience.
• Experience operating farm machinery safely and accurately.
• Experience with irrigation systems and concrete work.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• A positive, professional approach to working with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and work a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screening, as required for the position.
