TIG Pipe Welder

Job Description

Steadfast Employment is hiring experienced TIG Pipe Welders for a shop position in Loganville, GA. Candidates should have hands-on experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and be comfortable completing a 6G weld test.

What You’ll Do

• TIG weld carbon steel and stainless steel pipe according to job specifications.
• Read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and follow welding procedures.
• Prepare pipe joints through beveling, cleaning, fitting, and tacking.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed.
• Inspect welds and make corrections to meet quality standards.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous professional TIG/GTAW pipe welding experience.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
• Ability to pass a 21⁄2-inch Schedule 40 pipe weld test in the 6G position.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to the shop.

Pay: $35–$38 per hour, based on experience.
