Assistant Golf Professional

• Maintains all golf course areas and maintenance facilities, using hand‑held equipment.
• Operates utility cart safely, keeping feet inside the cart at all times.
• Maintains sprinkler heads and valve boxes.
• Maintains bunkers.
• Maintains cart paths (edge and blow).
• Walks, mows greens and tees.
• Daily cleanup of equipment and facility.
• Blows fairways and rough.
• Conducts regular inspections of equipment and reports any issues or repairs needed to the Equipment Manager.
• Spreads pine and hardwood mulch three times per week, involving standing, loading/unloading, and hand spreading.
• Performs all other duties as required by the supervisor.

• Previous experience on a golf course or construction site, including operation of heavy equipment, is preferred.
• Operates equipment with precision and care.
• Can bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently stands, walks, bends, kneels, and works in various weather conditions.
• Can walk and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Open to receiving feedback regarding performance.
• Highly punctual.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is a plus.
• Ability to work 7 days per week, starting as early as 6:00 AM. Must be available to work weekends and overtime as required.

• Performs duties and operates equipment according to company safety and training programs.
• Uses required personal protective equipment: safety glasses, ear plugs, steel‑toe boots, sunscreen, gloves, and seatbelts when applicable.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Reports safety or hazard concerns to management promptly.
• Reports any on‑the‑job injury to management immediately.
• Takes personal responsibility for safety daily.
• Reports equipment issues to the Equipment Manager immediately.
