Overview

We are growing and currently hiring for a Performing Arts Professional. We welcome applicants with varying levels of dance and instructor experience. If you love interacting with people, staying active, and have control over what you earn, you will enjoy a career with Fred Astaire!

As a high-energy, customer-focused instructor, you will conduct private and group dance classes throughout the week. You and your Fred Astaire team will help students reach their personal dance goals through events and ongoing dance growth. You will engage with people from diverse backgrounds and have the opportunity to enrich lives every day. Our studio hours are regular, but we host events on some weekday evenings and weekends that you will need and want to attend with your students.

Responsibilities
  • Lead private and group dance classes; guide students toward their personal dance goals
  • Engage with students of all ages and maintain high energy, active participation
  • Attend regular studio hours and participate in events on weekday evenings or weekends as needed
  • Support a welcoming studio environment consistent with the Fred Astaire culture
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about dance
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Willingness to commit to the work and hold oneself accountable
  • Team-oriented and receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills to work with students of all ages
  • Excellent physical fitness and endurance to perform duties effectively
