• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
• Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in project work and review/complete/assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and participate in ongoing workplace safety initiatives.

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be over 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

• Monday – Friday, second shift from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm; no weekends.
• Location:
  
  repair/maintenance shop at WM’s Jackson, GA hauling site.
• Stable hours aimed at financial security and work-life balance.

• Starting salary of $26–$32 per hour, depending on experience; up to $6 more per hour with ASE certification.
• Tool allowance reimbursement up to $2,500; boot allowance up to $300.
