- Utilize WMOS for picking transactions and conduct dock searches for cartons as needed.
- Systemically account for all cartons moved in assigned areas and prioritize hot orders with the lead.
- Verify product is on correct lanes, inspect all merchandise for damages and count discrepancies.
- Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment while keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily.
- Maintain required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards while embodying Williams‑Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 6 months’ experience with RF scanners.
- At least 1 year forklift experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (WMOS) and read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
- Willing and able to be cross‑trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DC equipment:
Reach Truck, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker, Motorized Pallet Jack. - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and fast learner.
- Flexible to work overtime as required.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the day.
- Able to lift to 65 lbs.
- Comfortable elevating on an order picker up to 45 feet.
- Able to use a computer an extended period.
