Job Overview

Material Handler at GXO Logistics, Inc. located in Midway, GA. This role supports warehouse operations by moving material, packing, scanning, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Event times: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material‑handling equipment
• Perform packing, scanning, kitting or counting of products
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work safely to protect yourself and your team members

• Minimum age 18 years
• Basic math calculations, with or without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment (1 year preferred)
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including possible overtime
• Experience with a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, walk for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
