Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Tran South Logistics (William M. Bird and Company) is seeking Full-Time Warehouse Associate. 7am - 4pm (Pallet Goods) This position is responsible for receiving, picking, staging, processing, and packaging of inbound and/or outbound orders. This individual should be able to handle a heavy workload while at the same time meeting and exceeding all Tran South standards in terms of productivity, quality, customer service, safety, and housekeeping.

Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift and lift up to 65 lbs. daily.

• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer orders
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

• Proven warehouse experience
• Ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift, hand truck, RF scanner, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
