Warehouse Manager, Distribution/ General Warehouse

In this role, you'll oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely receiving and distribution of materials, and efficient support for our field teams. You'll demonstrate Ownership by taking accountability for warehouse performance, create Impact by ensuring our teams have the materials they need to serve customers, and bring Intensity through a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Because success doesn't happen in silos, you'll Win Together by collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, Construction, Installation & Repair, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to keep projects moving and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, coordinating the receipt, storage, transfer, and distribution of materials to support field operations
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics such as space utilization, turnaround time, and labor utilization to create operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Transports material as needed, using company vehicle and/or box truck. Some deliveries will require overnight stay dependent upon length of travel.
Inventory Management & Controls
- Conduct audits, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence
- Ensure accurate inventory control, minimizing stock discrepancies and optimizing stock levels
- Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
People Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and lead warehouse supervisors, and support staff
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
- Conduct performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and termination decisions when warranted
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and safety-focused culture
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Experience working with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems (Net Suite preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Analytics, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with Net Suite, Salesforce, Sitetracker, or similar platforms
- Telecommunications or utility industry experience
