The Warehouse Sorter is responsible for identifying and sorting various types of plastic materials on a moving conveyor line. This crucial function ensures that products are processed according to company standards while supporting our environmentally friendly initiatives. The Warehouse Sorter is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols, and reporting any equipment or safety concerns to supervisors.

• Full-time Warehouse Sorter position in a dynamic recycling operation
• Key responsibilities include sorting, identifying, and separating plastic materials on a conveyor line
• Ensures quality control and compliance with company recycling standards
• Supports a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

• Sort various types of plastic materials from a moving conveyor line to ensure proper recycling and processing
• Identify and remove contaminants or non-recyclable items from the conveyor line to maintain product quality
• Separate plastics by type, color, and grade according to established company guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to operational protocols
• Assist with general production tasks as assigned by supervisors to support overall recycling operations
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors to ensure a safe working environment

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive sorting tasks
• Capability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 30-40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Previous experience in warehouse, recycling, or manufacturing settings is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred to support team communication
