Health Information Systems Manager

Join our team as a Health Information Systems Manager and lead the administration, optimization, and integrity of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms. This role is central to ensuring accurate data reporting, billing analytics, workflow efficiency, and compliance with HIPAA, PCMH, FTCA, UDS, and corporate standards. You’ll supervise staff, collaborate with Billing and program leadership, and drive data-informed improvements across the organization.

What

You’ll Do
  • Manage daily operations of EMR systems and related applications (Next Gen, Tableau, patient portal, etc.)
  • Implement upgrades, new features, and workflow enhancements
  • Deliver EMR training and provide ongoing technical support to staff
  • Design and analyze clinical, billing, and operational reports
  • Lead annual UDS reporting and workflow improvements
  • Support billing, coding, and revenue-cycle data accuracy
  • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Hire, mentor, and supervise staff while fostering collaboration across teams
Qualifications
  • Grade 7:AA degree in Health Information Technology, business, healthcare, or related field; 1+ year EMR/EHR experience;
    Excel proficiency
  • Grade 8:Meets Grade 7 plus 2+ years healthcare/EMR administration and 1+ year supervisory experience
  • Grade 9:Bachelor’s in HIM, statistics, or related field OR 4+ years EMR administration; 6+ years healthcare experience; 3+ years supervisory experience
Working Conditions
  • Office/clinical environment with cross-department collaboration
  • Tight deadlines, occasional evenings/weekends, and travel for training/conferences
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs
