Seasonal Elevator Technician – West Plains LLC

Full‑time position located in Gering, NE with immediate start date. Remote work and telecommuting are available. No visa sponsorship.

West Plains LLC, part of the Bio Urja Group, is an agricultural commodity trading business specializing in warehouse operations. We operate nearly 20 million bushels of elevator space across five states. The Seasonal Elevator Technician provides general labor support at our Gering facility, assisting with grain handling, maintenance, and safety compliance.

• Provide general assistance to facility operations
• Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping and washing surfaces
• Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, and site‑specific safety plans when cleaning and donning protective gear
• Operate routinely used tools and equipment
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles, trailers, and trains
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

• Minimum 2 years of experience in grain or related industry
• High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions
• Experience with grain industry, equipment operation, and maintenance is a plus
• Reliable and regular attendance expected
