About the Opportunity:- This position will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting enzyme production, purification, and process optimization in a manufacturing environment.
- Serve as a technical expert for enzyme production and purification processes
- Develop, optimize, and improve fermentation and downstream purification workflows
- Establish and monitor procedures, process controls, KPIs, and CPPs to ensure robustness and reproducibility
- Lead investigations into process deviations, OOS results, and CAPAs
- Support technology transfer of new enzyme products from R&D into manufacturing
- Author and revise SOPs, batch records, and technical documentation
- Utilize statistical tools (DoE, trend analysis) to drive continuous process improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
- Provide technical training and guidance to manufacturing staff
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Enzymology, Chemical Engineering, or related field (PhD + 1–3 years, MS + 4–6 years, BS + 7–10 years)
- Strong hands‑on experience with enzyme fermentation and purification
- Experience with downstream processing technologies (e.g., AKTA, TFF, chromatography)
- Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, SDS‑PAGE, gel electrophoresis
- Experience working in GMP and/or ISO‑regulated environments preferred
- Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting
